Tosha's first "snail mail" letter dated 11/7/13
Family!
I love you all so much! It has been busy, busy busy!! I feel like I have been awake for like 2 days today, but I also have been able to learn so much! Before I came to the MTC I got to visit Josh and briefly visit Ryan. I was so happy I got to see him, even if it was only for a couple of minutes.
I got to the MTC a bit early (12:25ish) where I got my tag, books & dropped of my bags. We then went straight to the classroom where we met our instructors. I also me my companion, Sister Fullmer. All Four of the sisters in my District (and 3/4 of the elders) are going to the Houston Mission! It is so exciting!! Sister Fullmer is from Genola, UT only 20 minutes south of the MTC. She is AMAZING!! I love her so much. She is the 2nd oldest of 8. 7 girls & 1 boy (the youngest). She is from a small ranching community so she is a country girl. Did I mention that she has amazingly curly hair? Well, she does and it is totally opposite from me. We get along so well and she will definitely be a great friend after I get home. I feel like I've know her for years.
The MTC has been great. I have learned so much and I've only been here for a day & a half. We teach our first investigator "Frank" on Saturday. We will be teaching him about the restoration. We will stat teaching our Main investigator "Jim" on Tuesday and every day until Saturday. He is so ready to hear about the Plan of Salvation. He is so family oriented.
Well, I love you all!! Thank you for the support!
Love,
Sister Carling
